WELCOME LETTER FROM THE GENERAL CHAIR

To the attendees of the WAMI Student Forum 2021,

I would like to cordially welcome you on behalf of all members of the student led, organizing crew and IEEE MTT-s USF student chapter to WAMI student forum 2021. This will be the third consecutive time that we have the pleasure of hosting this event. It is an honor and a delight to serve as a general chair for this event.

Our main objectives for this event are to excite USF students to different career opportunities and paths in RF and microwave industry, as well as facilitate industry EAB members to engage with students and share information about the expectations and necessary skills required, to succeed in their companies. Our vision is to create and nurture a pro-active network of students and professionals to facilitate trouble free and robust student to professional transformation. I am confidence that all attendees will gain the answers that they are looking for, weather they are regarding which skill-set to master for their dream job or the top trends in research of RF and microwave field or to build a strong network.

I would like to acknowledge all of our event sponsors, especially our and WAMI Center External Affiliates Board (EAB) member companies including Tier 2 (Gold) members Mini-Circuits and Modelithics and Tier 1(Silver) members: Qorvo, L3Harris, Collins, and Lockheed Martin. It is your generous supports that allows us to organize this event, which provides opportunity for students to improve both their technical and soft skills. We are certain that you will find this year’s event as engaging and enjoyable as previous years experiences.
